RAMBLINGS...
September 21, 2004: Wow! It's been a long time since I've written in here. Since my last entry, my father passed away. He died on August 8, 2004. It was a really rough time for the family because it was such a shock! He was a great man & I miss him very much. The family all seems to be doing better now. I've built a Memorial Page for him. I'm heading down to San Francisco for the weekend. I'll see my mom on Friday then head back up to the City. It's Folsom Street Fair Weekend. I'll be sharing a room at the Best Western Civic Center on 9th St. with my partners in crime Joe and Fred. We should be joined on Sunday by my brother Eddie & his wife Cecilia on Sunday. We're also hoping to hook up with several other friends. Some from the Bay Area and some from Reno. It should be a blast!

We had our first snow of the season. It was up in the mountains on Sunday and Monday. Nothing here on the valley floor yet. It was early. Last year we didn't get any until Halloween. It should be warming up nicely again by the end of the week. Guess that's about it for now.



July 10, 2004:     My first posting on my new page.  Not sure what I'm going to write about in this section or who's going to read it but I'll give it a try.  Today's Saturday and Jerry's gone off on a motorcycle ride.  I have to work tonight.  I'm pretty depressed because it's Jeff & Doug's going away party.  Jeff's a bartender at Carl's.  Doug's his husband.  I performed their union in my backyard on May 23, 2004.  Jeff sold his place here in Reno & they're moving to San Antonio, TX next week.  Tomorrow's actually their last night in the bar but tonight will still be difficult.  I really don't want them to move.  Reno's a transiant town so I should be used to people leaving.  I've been here for almost 4 years now and seen a lot of people come and go.
     On another note, my parents are coming up on Tuesday for a few days.  That will be fun.  I always look forward to their visits.
